Full Moon

The Full Moon occurs when the Moon is on the opposite side of Earth from the Sun, fully illuminating its face. This powerful phase has inspired countless myths, celebrations, and has been linked to high tides due to gravitational forces.

Waning Gibbous

After the Full Moon, the illuminated portion begins to decrease. The Waning Gibbous phase is associated with gratitude, reflection, and sharing wisdom gained during the lunar cycle. It's a time for giving back and teaching others.

Last Quarter

The Last Quarter Moon appears as a half-moon again, but the opposite side is illuminated compared to the First Quarter. This phase encourages release, forgiveness, and letting go of what no longer serves you.

Waning Crescent

The final phase before the cycle begins anew, the Waning Crescent is a thin sliver of light in the pre-dawn sky. This is a period of rest, recuperation, and surrender before the rebirth of the New Moon.

New Moon

The New Moon marks the beginning of the lunar cycle. During this phase, the Moon is positioned between the Earth and the Sun, making it invisible from Earth. This is a time of new beginnings and fresh starts in many cultures.

Waxing Crescent

As the Moon moves away from the Sun in the sky, a thin crescent becomes visible. This growing sliver of light represents hope and positive change. It's an excellent time for setting intentions and planning for the future.

First Quarter

At the First Quarter, exactly half of the Moon's face is illuminated. This phase occurs about a week after the New Moon. The Moon rises around noon and sets around midnight, making it visible during the afternoon and evening.

Waxing Gibbous

More than half but not fully illuminated, the Waxing Gibbous Moon is a time of refinement and adjustment. This phase represents the final preparations before completion, encouraging patience and perseverance.
